Acceptable Use

Rules for lawful, authorized and responsible use of Wholesale Services.

Effective: September 10, 2026Last updated: September 10, 2026Version 5.2

Defined Terms

Application within Acceptable Use. “ARCAMUSA,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Arcamusa, Inc., operator of ARCAMUSA Wholesale. “Customer” means the business entity authorized to use the Wholesale Services. “Traffic” means calls, signaling, metadata and related activity submitted to or received from the Wholesale Services. “Caller ID” or “CLI” means calling-party identification information. “Downstream Customer” and “End User” mean persons or entities using services through Customer.

Application within Acceptable Use. “Agreement” includes applicable online terms and policies together with any signed MSA, Order Form or Rate Sheet. “CDR” means a call detail record used for operational, billing, reconciliation, security or compliance purposes. Defined terms apply consistently across the Legal & Trust Center unless a document expressly provides a narrower meaning.

Permitted Wholesale Use

Legitimate authorized business, carrier, reseller, service-provider and enterprise voice Traffic is permitted when consistent with the Agreement and applicable law. High volume alone is not abuse.

Prohibited Fraud & Deception

  • Fraud, scams, impersonation, phishing, vishing, credential theft, malware or social engineering.
  • Fraudulent spoofing, number hijacking, deceptive CLI, government, bank, carrier or emergency-number impersonation.
  • Artificial traffic inflation, traffic pumping, Wangiri, premium-rate fraud and malicious short-duration patterns.

Prohibited Calling Conduct

  • Unlawful robocalls, telemarketing, political outreach or debt collection.
  • Harassment, threats, emergency-service abuse or knowingly falsified identity or Traffic information.
  • Attempts to circumvent consent, do-not-call, traceback, analytics, anti-fraud or network protections.

Downstream Responsibility

Customer must govern Downstream Customers and End Users, maintain appropriate records and promptly address suspected abuse. Resale does not transfer Customer’s responsibility to ARCAMUSA.

Investigation & Enforcement

ARCAMUSA may request evidence, investigate, preserve records, require remediation and restrict or suspend affected Traffic. Serious, repeated or unremediated misuse may lead to termination and lawful regulatory or law-enforcement cooperation.

When risk permits, ARCAMUSA may give notice identifying the affected traffic and a remediation deadline. Notice may be omitted or follow protective action when delay could expose recipients or networks to fraud, unlawful calling, security compromise or continuing material harm.

Lawful Use

Services may be used only for lawful, authorized business communications consistent with the approved service and traffic profile.

Consent and Calling Rules

Customer is responsible for consent, do-not-call, calling-time, identification, disclosure and recordkeeping requirements applicable to its calls and recipients.

Prohibited Deception

Impersonation, misleading identity, unlawful spoofing, phishing, scams, harassment and concealment of traffic source are prohibited.

Artificial Traffic

Traffic pumping, artificial inflation, revenue-share manipulation, Wangiri, callback inducement and other activity designed primarily to generate charges or distort metrics are prohibited.

Security Abuse

Credential sharing, unauthorized access, scanning, denial-of-service behavior and attempts to bypass controls are prohibited.

Network Integrity

Customer must not send traffic that threatens service, interoperability, reputation or other networks and must respect reasonable technical limits.

Investigation

ARCAMUSA may request source, consent, CLI, campaign, downstream and routing evidence and may use complaints and traffic signals to assess risk.

Protective Action

Suspected violations may lead to filtering, rate limiting, route restriction, suspension or termination under the Agreement without disclosure of security thresholds.

Customer Response

Customer must preserve records, stop affected traffic, prevent re-entry and provide a credible remediation plan when requested.

No Evasion

A customer may not create alternate accounts, routes, CLI sets or downstream arrangements to avoid a restriction or investigation.

Contract Hierarchy & Related Documents

This policy supplies enforceable use restrictions under the Wholesale Terms. Caller-number presentation is additionally governed by the Caller ID Policy, automated or prerecorded calling by the Robocall policy, anomalous traffic by Traffic Integrity, and downstream conduct by the Reseller Terms.

Where the same incident implicates several policies, ARCAMUSA may investigate and contain it as one event; each policy nevertheless supplies its own evidence requirements and consequences. A service order cannot authorize conduct prohibited here unless a written amendment explicitly and lawfully changes the identified restriction.
