LEGAL REQUESTS & REPORTING

Law Enforcement & Legal Requests

Guidelines for valid government, regulatory, emergency, preservation and civil legal process.

Effective: September 10, 2026Last updated: September 10, 2026Version 5.2

Defined Terms

Application within Law Enforcement & Legal Requests. “ARCAMUSA,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Arcamusa, Inc., operator of ARCAMUSA Wholesale. “Customer” means the business entity authorized to use the Wholesale Services. “Traffic” means calls, signaling, metadata and related activity submitted to or received from the Wholesale Services. “Caller ID” or “CLI” means calling-party identification information. “Downstream Customer” and “End User” mean persons or entities using services through Customer.

Application within Law Enforcement & Legal Requests. “Agreement” includes applicable online terms and policies together with any signed MSA, Order Form or Rate Sheet. “CDR” means a call detail record used for operational, billing, reconciliation, security or compliance purposes. Defined terms apply consistently across the Legal & Trust Center unless a document expressly provides a narrower meaning.

Valid Legal Process

ARCAMUSA reviews subpoenas, court orders, warrants and other compulsory process for apparent validity, authority, scope and jurisdiction. An informal request or email alone does not guarantee disclosure.

Requesting-Party Verification

Government and law-enforcement requesters should provide agency identity, official contact information, legal authority, case reference, specific accounts or identifiers, date ranges and requested records. ARCAMUSA may independently verify identity and authority.

Preservation Requests

Preservation is considered when supported by applicable law and sufficiently identifies relevant information. Preservation does not confirm that records exist, extend ordinary availability indefinitely or constitute disclosure.

Emergency Requests

Emergency requests should identify the emergency, imminent risk, information sought, connection to the emergency and requesting official. Disclosure, if any, depends on applicable legal authority and good-faith evaluation; no automatic disclosure is promised.

Regulatory & Civil Requests

Regulatory inquiries are routed for appropriate review. Civil litigants generally must use valid legal process and may be directed to the relevant Customer or court procedures.

Customer Notice & Confidentiality

ARCAMUSA may notify a Customer when legally permitted and appropriate. A requesting authority seeking nondisclosure should identify the legal basis. Requests and responsive records are handled with appropriate confidentiality.

Data Availability & Scope

ARCAMUSA cannot guarantee that requested records exist, are retained or are technically retrievable. Responses are limited to records reasonably identified, available and legally producible.

Submitting Legal Process

Process must be served through a legally valid method or a channel specifically identified in authorized service documentation. ARCAMUSA does not designate an unverified public email address for service of process. Genuine emergencies should first use established emergency and law-enforcement channels.

Requesting Authority

A request should identify the issuing authority, representative, legal basis, jurisdiction and reliable official contact information.

Required Specificity

Requests should identify the account, numbers, dates, time zone, records sought and relevant incident with enough precision to permit a reasonable search.

Valid Legal Process

ARCAMUSA evaluates subpoenas, court orders, warrants, regulatory demands and other process according to applicable law, jurisdiction and the records requested.

Preservation

A preservation request should identify its authority, scope and duration. Preservation does not itself authorize disclosure and may be limited by available records and law.

Emergency Requests

Emergency requests should describe the imminent risk, affected person, information sought and why ordinary process is insufficient. Submission does not guarantee disclosure.

Civil Requests

Private-party and civil demands remain subject to valid process, jurisdiction, objections, confidentiality and applicable customer-notice considerations.

Customer Notice

Notice may be provided where allowed and appropriate, but can be delayed or prohibited by law, court order or risk.

Narrowing and Costs

ARCAMUSA may seek clarification or narrowing of vague, overbroad, burdensome or technically infeasible requests and may address legally permitted reimbursement.

Authenticity and Security

Sensitive records are transmitted only after verifying the request and through an approved secure channel; public web forms should not receive confidential evidence.

No Informal Disclosure

Informal inquiries, social-media messages and requests lacking sufficient authority do not replace valid legal process.

Contract Hierarchy & Related Documents

These guidelines describe intake and evaluation of governmental, regulatory, preservation and civil process. Privacy, CPNI and Data Processing determine the relevant information classification, but neither a customer contract nor an informal request replaces valid authority and jurisdiction.

Emergency requests follow the separate emergency-disclosure standard in these guidelines and do not activate calling access under the Emergency Services policy. A preservation step maintains available records for the stated period without deciding whether later disclosure is legally permitted.
